Here is a magnificent large study in the Art Nouveau style, dated 1911: It represents the project for a double-leaf entrance door. This watercolor/gouache and black pencil study is the work of the artist Alice Fardel, a student at the School of Decorative Arts, and was executed during an Architecture course in February 1911, as indicated on the red stamp at the top right.

Sre" (upper division) and "14 Points. A label from the School, pinned at the bottom, provides some information about the artist. The different elements that make up the door are represented, both the structure itself and the decorative flower motifs. As for these motifs, they are treated in several ways: carved in the wood of the door's corners, chiseled in the brass of the handle, or in the form of stained glass to let in the light...
